Kleist Pheasant Farm was founded in 2024 by Ben and Leah Kleist, born from a love of the land and a passion for bird hunting. Ben grew up farming and knew he wanted to continue that tradition, but it wasn't until we welcomed our dog Navy into our lives that the vision for our pheasant farm truly took flight. Watching her natural hunting instincts come alive sparked something in us, and we knew we wanted to share that same excitement with other hunting enthusiasts.

 

What began as a small-scale operation quickly grew beyond our initial plans. We were incredibly fortunate early on—a retiring pheasant farmer was selling his equipment, and we were able to acquire netting, posts, waterers, and other essentials that gave us a strong foundation to build on. That moment of good timing felt like a sign we were on the right path.

 

None of this would have been possible without the support of our friends and family, who've helped us every step of the way. We're deeply grateful for their generosity and encouragement as we've grown our operation. Today, we're proud to raise quality pheasants and provide memorable hunting experiences.
